 Enjoy a beautiful hike through the tropical rainforest, walking for 2 hours on the Arenal Hanging Bridges. Wonderful panoramic views of Arenal Volcano and Lake Arenal. We will continue with a visit to the breathtaking Río Fortuna waterfall. The flora and fauna of this place will join us on the way down to this amazing 60 meters waterfall. Enjoy yourself with a refreshing bath. After a busy morning we will enjoy a delicious costarican lunch and take a break before continuing with our trip. At 3:30 we will continue on a 1 and ½ hour guided hike through rainforest trail which will take us to the main observation view point of the volcano. ARENAL VOLCANO HIKING TOUR
Our tour takes you to the active side of Arenal, where our naturalist guide will take you through rainforest trails for a nice and gentle hike to spot a big variety of diverse flora and fauna such as monkeys, toucans, wild turkeys, sloths, a big variety of birds and sometimes snakes. Arriving at the observation point just before sunset, where you will have the chance to hear and feel the deep rumbling that precedes occasional eruptions of steam, smoke and molten lava. At night, if it´s not cloudy, the show is even more stupendous as the mammoth volcano spews red lava and huge rocks glow against tha black sky. While watching the volcano and taking pictures our tour guide will share some history and information about the area and the volcano´s activity. Then, we continue our way down to the exotic and relaxing hot springs nearby to sit back and relax in this soothing water that soaks away every aching muscle.

CAÑO NEGRO WILDLIFE REFUGE

CELESTE RIVER WATERFALL
Here you will experience the real contact with nature at the same time discover one of Costa Rica´s hidden mysteries, Río Celeste. We will hike rainforest trails for approximately 4 hours or over 7 Km. During the walk we will visit places such as the Lagoon, Los Teñideros, a place where two pristine brooks meet forming the perfect chemistry delighting us with the heavenly turquoise color and the thermal mud-filled cavities in the ground. Also take and a soothing warn bath at Tenorio natural springs. Venado Caves
The amazing Venado Caves were formed during the Miocene period, 15 or 20 million years ago. For many years they were under sea level and due to tectonic movements they surfaced. It was discovered by the Guatuzos aborigines. Limestone rocks, stalactites, stalagmites and corals form most of the cave. The whimsical stone formation were sculpted by an underground river. The length of the tour into the caves is 1 ½ hour, during this time we will find marine fossils, plenty of bats, spiders and crickets. Feel the adrenaline while exploring the cave from the upper part, walking through the river and waterfalls.

Its one of the most beautiful environmental project in Costa Rica located within the corridor followed by birds migrating between North and South America. This ride takes us on an old road connecting Arenal Dam with the main entrance to Arenal Volcano National Park. From there we go towards the Arenal Observatory Lodge and the village of El Castillo. We´ll be biking on a quiet Lane surrounded by dense forest and a few cattle farms. Along the ride we ofetn see howling monkeys, coatis and many birds like toucans, egrets and king fishers. We´ll stop for a pic nic on the shore of Lake Arenal where it´s possible to swin. The volcano is visible during most of the ride and we can often hear its activity while we bike.

CANYONING
Your trips begins with a 30 minute 4X4 drive into the tropical rainforest outsider the town of La Fortuna, in the shadow of the Arenal Volcano. CERRO CHATO HILL

The Rain Goddess is Blue Wing’s private luxurious houseboat. Fully equipped with Air Conditioned, well set staterooms and the best food. With all the calm and comfort that you need, just like home.
Although the Rain Goddess is located in a lagoon where the waves are not risky, it is fully equipped with the necessary safety implements, demanded by the Costa Rican Government and approved, according to the sailing norms, by the competent authorities. Some of these implements are: fire extinguishers (the crew will show you where each are located) and life jackets provided for use in case of emergency. Also we count with a policy insurance protecting the crew and guests in case of any eventual injure. On the other hand, we follow waste treatment standards that reflect our concern for the local environment. It is our main concern that your trip be the most amusing, enjoyable and pleasant.
Power plants operate the air conditioning system 24 hours a day and two 125 Hp inboard engines give the Rain Goddess its unique cruise and independence.
The Rain Goddess, which dimensions are 65 foot by 16 foot, was designed in the United States for Blue Wing and was finished in Costa Rica making use of the finest handcraft in local rare woods.
The RainGoddess will depart the dam at 4:00pm.
